From time to time, let’s say 5/7 I receive this message when opening the project. Sometimes restart of PC helps. Right now, again this message. No start is possible.
Meanwhile there’s a background task hanging: VCS Initialization. But I don’t know, if VCS hangs because of the error, too, or vice versa.
So, currently the project is broken. I have now idea…
It worked, when I last left the PC…

Could you provide a full stacktrace? And also clarify the version of the IntelliJ Idea and JmixStudio plugin?
Also, the idea.log file will be very helpful.

Restart IDE, restart PC,e tc. until we get fine start up and indexing again. Then it works.
But I’m loosing trust day by day. 
There’s also another error coming up almost every session, I’ll post in other thread…

Maybe my set of plugins, JVM, JRE, etc. isn’t optimized.
Do you have JPA Buddy plugin installed?

I disabled JPA Buddy, but honestly don’t believe that to be the reason…
If startup ide and project indexing works, everything will be fine. If indexing fails, e.g. I have sometimes a stuck indexing at VCS connector, all other things fail. So, might be anything else.
If I find more background and real facts, I’m going to post those ones here.

I had the same issue, just invalidate cache and check all options in idea helps me.
