While listining to the Jmix 2.8.0 release features I needed to update my intellij to 2026.1
After updating my intellij I tried to install Jmix 2.8.0 but I got a dialog to enter a locale. However there are several locales in the app. Also noticed that Data Stores is emtpy and I can’t edit the project properties. When I create a new project I have the same issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am working on a mac m4, intellij 2026.1 and Jmix 2.8.0.

Could you please attach the IDEA log file? You can find it via Help → Show Log in Finder.
Also, when you say “I can’t edit the project properties,” what exactly happens? Do you see an error when you click Project Properties, or does the dialog simply not appear?
For example: when I open the project properties, there are no locales. When entering 1 (eg English) the Ok button is unresponsive, the Cancel button works.

Thank you for providing the logs. Unfortunately, we could not find anything helpful there.
Since you are reporting issues with both application locales and data stores, there may be a problem related to working with properties files, as both features depend on them.
You can try invalidating the IDE caches.
