At the same time the documentation shows that it can be made based on standard HTML Using the Element API :: Jmix Documentation
I think it is great to have it as an example, but wouldn’t it make sense to also have it as part of the framework?

The native color picker doesn’t provide enough features expected by users, and its visual appearance can depend on the environment (operating system, browser). This does not allow it to be used as part of a framework, but it can still be used as an example in the documentation.

In that case my request changes to “please implement a new colorpicker and provide it as part of the
framework.”
It’s a standard component that should be part of the framework. Just like it was part of the framework in CUBA Platform and jMix 1.x
