Confusion on addon compatibility

Hi there,

The addon marketplace lists several addons as compatible with Jmix up to 1.5, not 2.0 or later, like:

• GrapeJS
• Email templates

Buts those addons are hosted in the jmix main repository and Maven Central shows versions released as 2.1, like here.

So… are those addons compatible with 2.1? If so, why does the marketplace not say so?

Also, if those are compatible with 2.1 should we expect them to be added to the official documentation?

Note that the addon documentation says it is NOT compatible with 2.1

Hi Marc,

The Jmix Marketplace correctly marks these add-ons as compatible with Jmix 1.x only.

The source code repository, as well as the artifacts repository contain only “backend” parts of these add-ons for Jmix 2.x. Perhaps we’ll remove them eventually.
