Been trying to make an appilcation for a drag and drop form builder since Cuba platform… that got deprecated… waiting for jmix 1.x… the front end got deprecated… now jmix 2.0? how long will this last until it gets changed? not been able to get a solid ground to build my application.
What kind of stability do you expect?
CUBA is still available and we still rebuild CUBA Studio for the latest IntelliJ.
Jmix 1.x will be supported till 2028 and each new Jmix Studio will work with it.
Jmix 2.x is based on latest Spring Boot and Vaadin and is not going to change radically unless these technologies are changed. This is the best we can do to provide you a solid ground.
dependable addons… and not have to be relearning this over and over again.

3 radical changes by the time I am done with a project I cannot update to the other even if I redo all my screens… I started something in cuba with the drag and drop addon. not available.
I have yet another project that requires the maps. makes no sense to work on jmix1. I don’t want to tell my boss maybe they release the addon next month. I’m working with other things on the side HOPING this gets done. I’m really feeling locked in.
