GroupDataGrid - wrong display with two group by and high number of rows

Hello,

We’re using the GroupdDataGrid add-on and we’ve identified a use case where the displayed grid isn’t correct.

Here is our configuration:

  • jmix-groupgrid-flowui: 3.0.2

  • Jmix: 3.0.2

  • Vaadin (flow-server): 25.1.14

In a groupDataGrid containing several columns, we have noticed that if we do a group by with at least two distinct columns and then update the number of “Rows per page” displayed to a high value (>=500) then the grid seems to be broken. For example, if we open a group containing some data, the sub group is not displayed and we can’t see what is inside.

The issue disappears either if we remove one group by filter or if we switch back to a “Rows per Page” value equal to 100 or below.

I tried to reproduce the problem, but without success. Could you provide a demo project with the problem? Or detailed steps to reproduce with the following information:

  • Entities, attribute types, JPQL query
  • View XML
  • Any errors in the browser console or in the server log at the moment the grid breaks
  • Java controller if there is a related code with GroupDataGrid or data load.
