Hibernate @Formula like future support?

Hi, is there some future plan to support a hibernate @Formula like functionality?

Hi Michele,

There is a similar feature in EclipseLink: @Transformation.

Currently we don’t have plans to support it “oficially”, but perhaps it may be usable in some scenarios.

A possible scenario is to “convert” a LocalDateTime to LocalDate and use property in generic filter: does @Transformation allow this?

Yes I think so. But I didn’t try.
