Is DB2 for iseries possible as a DB type, I do not see it in the list of supported DB types.

DB2 is not supported out-of-the-box, but the framework allows you to implement support for different RDBMS in your project.
Could you describe your use case so we could prioritize our testing and documentation tasks? Do you want to use DB2 as a main or additional data store? Do you need reverse engineering of data model?
