Jmix Studio downgrade on IntelliJ idea 2026.2

After updating IntelliJ Idea from 2026.1.4 to 2026.2 (Ultimate edition) a lot of plugins needed to updated as well.

But the Jmix studio plugin downgraded from 3.0.1-261 to 2.5.2-251.

as I was taking care of this finally I did not update the IDE.

Hello,
while I can’t help with the specific problem, I would like to comment about how to avoid such problems.

Never update, only install the latest version of the IDE and then try.

Always make a copy of the project before upgrading it to the new version of Jmix.

Hi,

Unfortunately, there isn’t a Jmix plugin compatible with IDEA 2026.2 yet. This is due to some new requirements in JetBrains’ plugin verification process for the marketplace. We expect a compatible build to be available early next week.

As for the 2.5.2-251 version, this looks like an error in IDEA’s compatible-version search. Please disregard that version for now.
