Hi,
Can you describe the steps in more detail?
If you click the “Switch to 10.2.0” button, the driver will be configured for the selected database and saving the database settings should be successful.
Another ways to configure database drivers:
Hope this helps you.
Hi Mikhail,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The detail is this happens when I try to add an additional datasource to the data store for MS SQL Server.
After supplying d database, user id and password, it says “No Driver Files configured” asking me to switch to 10.2.0
When I clicked the “Switch to 10.2.0” button, it returns the error below: “com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver”
I can confirm that I have the driver already added to the project via external libraries.
This only happens when I use the MS SQL driver
The method you described to configure database drivers works but that is not what I need. I need to add additional data source to the data store.
Hope this makes it clearer
Best regards
Hello,
I was able to achieve this behavior and created a ticket.
You can see ticket here: https://youtrack.jmix.io/issue/JST-2759.
Thank you for your feedback

Hi Mikhail,
Thanks
same happened to me after the version update to 1.2.2
I needed to add the MSSQL driver like described be Mikhail in point 2…
looks like some settings got lost doing the version update
Trying to evaluate Jmix for my team and ran into the same issue. It’s configured here:
“Test Connection” with a Microsoft SLQ Server 2008 selected shows this dialog:
Clicking “Switch to 10.2.0” shows this dialog:
So our evaluation is dead in the water.
Hi, Eric,
We have fixed the problem. This will be available in version 1.2.2 (Jmix Studio).
Workaround:
In previous Jmix versions you can avoid this problem in the following ways:
Project properties (in Jmix Tool Window) → Jmix Plugin Settings → Database Drivers → Select MS SQL Server database → Set 9.4.0 version (or add any additional driver)
File → Settings (or Preferences on macOs) → Languages and Frameworks → Jmix → Database Drivers → Select MS SQL Server database → Set 9.4.0 version (or add any additional driver)
Best regards
