Report Template Print Area issue

Hi Jmix Support,

Currently in JMIX’s Report Add-On, we are facing some issues with Reports that has template of Excel format (.xls/.xlsx), and with a Print Area set to it.

Issue: While printing as PDF for the specific report, it will only print to the row where the Print Area is set to, regardless of the number of actual data that is available. In short, the report did not print fully what it was suppose to show but cut out all the other data that could not fit into the Print Area.

This was not the case back in CUBA’s Report, once the data “overflows” the Print Area set it will go to a new page and continue until all data has been printed.

Please help to check whether this is a real bug existing in JMIX, thank you.

I investigated and determined that the problem exists. I created an issue to fix it: XLSX/XLS report output to PDF is cut off at the print area defined in the template · Issue #5728 · jmix-framework/jmix · GitHub.
