Reports Addon not working with Docx Templates created in Microsoft Office 365

Dear Jmix Support Team,

We are having issues with the usage of Microsoft Office 365 and the Addon Reports, we cannot create any new template or modify any previous template created with Microsoft Word 2017 with Office 365.

We found that you have already identified this issue with the Bug 3483 of the link below. We see that the bug is still opened.

I do believe that a bug that is affecting all clients to use reports under Microsoft 365 should be treated with some priority. As workaround we will implement the libraries mentioned in the issue, Is there any plan to upgrades de libraries directly in any of the future releases?

Sure, we are going to upgrade Docx4j in Jmix 2.4 which is scheduled for this October.
We cannot do it in a 2.3.x patch because of high risk of incompatibilities.

I’ve assigned high priority to the issue, so we won’t miss it.
