Screen roles and permissions

Hello,

I know it is possible to define screen policy roles, but is it possible to limit visibility for screen components (TextFields, Labels, etc) inside a screen based on their id’s? It is the case when the screen component is not bound to a datasource.

Unfortunately, this functionality is not yet implemented, but we plan to provide this issue in the future.

Issue now states that this will not be implemented.
That is a pretty big setback and i believe you should change the answer you gave to avoid misleading people.

Can this feature be brought back in jmix like it was in CUBA?

Perhaps we’ll think about it only for the new UI module based on Vaadin 23 which we are developing now.
