Skip browse page and open edit page directly

I have a browse page and edit page.
If i am admin then i should see the list of all users and clickling each edit page open and i can add some userspecific things.
But if i am user. Then i dont need list. I can fetch the user specific objhect and can open the edit page direclty.
How can i do it
