Superset integration

Hi,

for June 24 you might integrate or support Apache Superset.
Because I just started to setup a Superset Reporting environment in parallel to the JMIX, my qestion:
how would the integration/support in JMIX look like?
Would there be a full Superset setup?
Would it make sense to wait for that instead of setting up Superset now independently?

Hello @r.walde ,

We are planning to implement an application using Superset in Jmix using an iframe. The superset itself will be deployed as a separate application and maintained separately.

If you have any suggestions for future integration, please let us know. :slightly_smiling_face:

Nikita

Hi Nikita,

thx for the reply.
I think I need to wait until you have a fist version to be tested.
We are planning to implement the reporting in Superset.
Installation is done and first dashboard is running.
But we see one gap… we already have a good implementation of the geo map addon in JMIX.
We would like to use it later in the Superset reports too, because one main part of any analysis we need, would be full controlled streetmap usage.
Which means, I am thinking of integrating the JMIX app (or that map part of it) in a Superset report.
When the user is filtering in the report, I would then need to control the JMIX map in any way.
Did not think about that yet, but an integration of Superset in JMIX would be really great, if you also keep the other direction in mind…

When you need someone to test it, just ping me.
