TextField not trimming white space in Jmix 2

We are using Jmix v2.1.3 currently and the TextFields that we use aren’t having extra whitespace at the beginning and end trimmed as previous versions of Cuba and Jmix v1 did. Is there a way to enforce trimming of these fields?

Currently there is no such functionality, I’ve created a GitHub issue.
