Should a Row Level Role apply to reports as well or does that need to be hand coded into each report?
In case it should, it is not presently behaving that way in the latest 1.5.x

By default, data is not filtered by role. Since the JPQL in the report can have any complexity and it is not tied to a specific entity, in this case there is no guarantee of the correctness of the filtered data.
To filter data you can use dataManager in Groovy-band.
